Hey Pupsters-
Happy Columbus Day! I am not sure who this Columbus person was, but I certainly like his fall weekend in the White Mountains. Dad and I came up early and Aunt EE and Mom got up very late Friday night. Nonetheless, they arrived in time to watch the Red Sox get their first win against the Rays (we won't talk about last night's game!)
Most of yesterday was dedicated to the annual Christmas Card Picture. Of course, Mom and Dad had on Christmas sweaters and it was nearly 70 degrees out. After 300 photos later all over town, I think they may have taken one that will work. Phew! I was EXHAUSTED. All of this posing! I was a bit less than cooperative. After all, when you live your life with cameras clicking all the time, the last thing you want to do on the weekend is look at a camera!
Today, we went on a hike. We went over by the Tuckerman's side of Mt Washington, and took a fun walk down to Glen Ellis Falls! It was PUPTASTIC. All along the way, people were telling me that I looked puptastic. What else is new?
Then Dad decided to take us over to Wildcat Mountain. We rode to Gondola all the way to the top! That's over 4000 pups! I loved my first official Gondola ride! Uncle Jay would be so happy!
Once at the top, dad got the brilliant idea to hike DOWN Wildcat. Of course, dad was in hiking attire and had on the right footwear. Aunt EE on the other hand.....not so much! I had a ball running down the mountain. There were lots of rocks and water for me to play in! After an hour or so, Mom, Dad, Aunt EE and I all made it to back to the base lodge. After a quick trip to Jackson Village for some sandwiches at J Town deli, we returned home for a quick bath. Along the way, dad and I stop by to see the Yankee Pumpkin People! They were showing what they were up to since they weren't going to the playoffs this year!
Mom and I then loaded up EE's car and headed home. Dad stayed at the ski house tonight as he is heading to Portland Maine for a couple days tomorrow!
So all in all, another great weekend. Summer has come and gone, and fall is well underway. I love all color on the trees because it means that WINTER and SKI SEASON is almost here!
