French Bistro, Date Night, and the Puppy Games!

Greeting Pupsters from the WET WHITE MOUNTAINS!

Seriously, how much RAIN can we possibly have? Dad had to put on the 4 pup drive on Route 1 as a deluge hit us on the ride north. My pupness, if this precipitation hangs around for the winter months, we will be driving snow mobiles up to New Hampshire!

So Thursday night, unbeknown to me, Mom and Dad had another one of these date nights. After failing to get into their neighbor favorite, Olives, they made the quick ride over to Pupberry Street and date night took place at Bouchee. This French eatery reminded Mom of one of her New York City favorites, Pastis.

While I was chewing away on my bully stick, Mom and Dad were enjoying oysters, Dijon encrusted salmon, and steak frites! It must have been VERY GOOD because there was no...eh hem...doggie bag accompanying them upon their return! What the pup????

Well, nonetheless, we are all enjoying the Summer Olympics and the puptastic Opening Ceremonies. But what is this?????? Dad was flipping through the channels while the delegation from Uganda was entering the stadium and what does he find???? THE PUPPY GAMES! Yes, the Puppy Games on the Animal Network. Now wait a second.....I don't remember getting an invitation to these events? I can play ball with the best of them - so why am I not representing the pups of Ctown???????

Ok, enough of my puprant! Time to play and enjoy the sunshine......while it lasts!

PTTPs!

Pastis is a great place to eat authentic French food. It's a little bit pricey (Croque-Monsieur costs $13). Top quality food is expensive anyway...
