Hey Pupsters -
Today I checked my pupmail, and I received a couple of notes worth mentioning here on Logan's Express. First, Uncle Jay, who was very observant, wanted my dad to take more pictures because he thought the picture of me by the fire was a "stock photo" as it had Mom's legs in it! Well Uncle Jay, that picture was taken this past Saturday, so it was pretty recent despite the beginning of Mancation Week! Good eye though!
I also got a note from Grand Pupparent Fred who said he should be here for all the fun of Mancation! Fred - you are welcome anytime!
So today, Dad and I played ball in the back yard. We also took a ride over Crawford Notch to pick up our Ravenswood Delivery at the UPS Center over in Twin Mountain. For some silly reason, you can't have wine delivered in Massachusetts - so Dad has it sent up here directly from Sonoma! Dad has become quite friendly with the UPS manager, Gloria (no worries mom - Gloria is about 70 years old). Not only did she hold our wine, but today she gave Dad a cucumber and squash from her NH farm! How about that for customer service!
On the ride back to the valley, I noticed that summer is clearly coming to an end as the leaves are changing on the trees in the upper elevations! Crazy!
Last night, I hung out again with my friend Nicholas and his pup parents Don and Nancy. We had lots of fun playing and running around his house. PUPTASTIC!
Other than that, just enjoying mancation. I need to have a picture taken of me in my under pupshorts with a bully stick cigar to prove to Uncle Jay my pictures are LEGIT!
Hope everyone is well. I am off to see what Dad is cooking in the kitchen.

Mancation
Hey Pupsters -
So, us boys, Dad and your pup truly, are taking some time off to enjoy the final days of summer. We are up at the Ski House, while Mom takes care of things back in the big city.
It is just puptastic. Sunny days and cool nights! Dad and I hung out around the firepit last night after some serious play time with my buddy Nicholas, who was also in town to check out the latest going ons at Storyland.
So it's just us boys for a few days of hikes, river runs, and just some pupping around. Mom joins us later in the week, as do our friend Robert and Kathy. I can't believe it is getting darker earlier already. We really have to make the best of this last week of summer!
Hope all my pups are doing well!

Top Ten Day!
Hey Pupsters -
WOW! Have you been outside today? It is PUPTASTIC out. In fact, Dad says there are ten awesome days in Boston, and this is clearly one of them. NO CLOUDS! BLUE SKIES! NO PUPMIDITY - which is incredible since we live on the harbor! The weather station says it is 73 degrees. Ah....clean air and cool breezes. Check out the view of the Tobin Bridge below!
I got to enjoy the weather up with my pups at the Fellsway. I love the long walks in the woods - and even the odd jump in the water! When Dad gets home, I can't wait to take a pup around the Harborwalk. We don't get many days like this - and this pup is going to take full advantage.
Upon returning to the Navy Yard, I decided to help my dad and check out the painting progress of our Boston home. Well, they aren't exactly painting yet, but lots of scraping and cleaning. As you can tell, I am keeping a watchful eyes on these pups....My Dad is a bit "high maintenance" when it comes to the physical plant around this place! I saw him walking around the building this morning with Mario, the pup supervisor. Mario had a notebook and pen in hand, which is never a good sign when my Dad is doing the talking!
Other than that, not much is pup. The Olympics seem to be going on forever, especially when Mom likes watching gymnastics all night long!
Red Sox are back at it with two wins over the O's. In fact, my cousin Ellis made it to his first game at only 4 weeks old! Not too pup!
Well, enough blogging. Time to get back out and play. Maybe if I take my leash and chuck-it and drop them at Dad's feet when he gets home, he'll get the message.

MIA Pup Blogger - FOUND!
Hi Pupsters -
Yes, your favorite pup is still here! Someone had to go to Portland for some business last week and took the laptop with him.......I think I am ready for my own pup-computer! When does that Santa Pup guy come around again?
Well, another week, another SOAKING rain in Boston and New Hampshire. Despite the rain, I had a nice weekend as my friends Robert and Kathy came to visit. Actually, they were in town to watch their friend bike to the TOP of Mt Washington! Holy Pupster! What a trip that must have been! And given the fact that Mom and Dad's golf round was canceled due to rain, thunder, lightning and HAIL (check out the hail on the patio below!), I can only imagine what it must have been like at the top of the rock pile!
Kathy came over for some breakfast and conversation on Saturday morning - and I made her feel right at home by climbing right on top of her. I only due this to TRUE pup fans! She seemed to enjoy my puptasticness.
Later, Mom and Dad met the gang over at the Red Parka for their traditional Saturday afternoon Pup Hour! It seemed like everyone had a good time.
Back here in the big city, I am looking forward to a good week with Jordan and my pups. Mom and Dad are around this week - and Dad is even taking some time off next week. I hope he has some fun pup things planned..THAT INCLUDE ME!
Today, they began removing paint on our Boston home in preparation for some painting to take place in a few weeks. Guys in hazmat suits showed up as they removed some of the lead paint from the windows and doors. Our place in NH is also being painted.....albeit a bit on slow side given the daily rain up there.
Speaking of rain, Mom's tomato plants still show promise with a number of the cherry tomatoes finally turning bright red. The pepper plant is growing like crazy as well as Mom's flowers around house.
And it must be that time of year again...the Red Sox are making me nervous....and what the pup is up with Tom Brady's foot?
Happy Monday.

French Bistro, Date Night, and the Puppy Games!
Greeting Pupsters from the WET WHITE MOUNTAINS!
Seriously, how much RAIN can we possibly have? Dad had to put on the 4 pup drive on Route 1 as a deluge hit us on the ride north. My pupness, if this precipitation hangs around for the winter months, we will be driving snow mobiles up to New Hampshire!
So Thursday night, unbeknown to me, Mom and Dad had another one of these date nights. After failing to get into their neighbor favorite, Olives, they made the quick ride over to Pupberry Street and date night took place at Bouchee. This French eatery reminded Mom of one of her New York City favorites, Pastis.
While I was chewing away on my bully stick, Mom and Dad were enjoying oysters, Dijon encrusted salmon, and steak frites! It must have been VERY GOOD because there was no...eh hem...doggie bag accompanying them upon their return! What the pup????
Well, nonetheless, we are all enjoying the Summer Olympics and the puptastic Opening Ceremonies. But what is this?????? Dad was flipping through the channels while the delegation from Uganda was entering the stadium and what does he find???? THE PUPPY GAMES! Yes, the Puppy Games on the Animal Network. Now wait a second.....I don't remember getting an invitation to these events? I can play ball with the best of them - so why am I not representing the pups of Ctown???????
Ok, enough of my puprant! Time to play and enjoy the sunshine......while it lasts!

Family Ties! Pup Ties!
Hey Pupsters -
Happy Thursday. You know what that means.......PUPDAY is around the corner! The weather continues to be a bit less than puptastic (I feel like I am getting moldy just sitting here on the pupottoman). Maybe thinking about winter and skiing isn't such a bad idea!
Much has been going on in the Logan family. First, as you can tell from today's pup photo, the all important People Magazine DOUBLE ISSUE arrived featuring the pup pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie(yawn!) Needless to say, mom was engrossed in this nonsense for hours on the couch while I chewed away on my bully stick.
In the meantime, my second cousin Liz had another baby, Kyra Noelle. While she looks quite pup, she arrived at over 8lbs! Way to go Liz!
No new news on young Ellis Ashley down in DC. I heard dad on the phone today making travel arrangements to go down and visit. There better be a pupticket for yours truly in that reservation. Plus I heard the hotel they are staying in has personalized bowls for pups like me!
Let's see..what else?? Oh, uncle Colin's engagement made the local paper. What a wedding this is shaping up to be! I have to do some research and figure out how I am going to get myself to the Bahamas!
And speaking of weddings, mom and dad received a wedding invitation for our friends Robert and Kathy! They are both puptastic and have played with me up at the ski house.
And then of course, my aunt Megan continues to finalize the wedding details for her big day in Big D next summer! My pupness! I need to hire a social coordinator to keep all of this straight!
Well, time for dinner! Hope my pups are doing PUPTASTIC!

Licensed to PUP!
Hey Pupsters -
Happy Monday and Happy Birthday Carol! Today is my dad's mother's birthday. (My grand pup parent!) Hope she has a PUPTASTIC day!
I just got the mail, and what did I receive today? MY OFFICIAL BOSTON DOG LICENSE! Yes, now that I am more than a year old, I get to have my own pup license. It is going to look smashing with all of my other tags that I have on my collar. I am so excited!
Other pup thoughts for the day:
-- Had a great weekend up north depsite the rain. WOW! I thought I was going to have to build an ark when I got back to Boston. Have we had enough rain yet?
-- Good bye Manny and hello Bay...Jason Bay! He is already looking puptastic on the field and at bat! Gossip in Boston has Jacoby Ellsbury looking at Manny's condo at the Pup Carlton Hotel! Not bad!
-- Tom Brady and boys are back at it at Patriots Camp. I think they are coming back with a pup vengence this year!
-- Mom and Dad were watching a Warren Miller ski movie last night in bed. Isn't it a little too pup to be thinking about snow?
Well, I am off for a pupabout the Navy Yard. Have a good week!
