Bon Vonage to the Brits - and a Note from the Past

Hey Pupsters -

We said goodbye to Sarah, Will, and my buddy Freddie on Tuesday. I had a great time with them while they were in Boston. They came over to my house on Sunday so that Dad and Will could reminisce about the good old days at Hurst and look through a number of the photo albums dad retrieved from our storage unit. Dad even dug up his British Yearbook which he founded, and as I am told, is one of the first of its kind in England. A copy is actually in the British National Library (or so the story goes!).

While the boys were catching up, mom had fun entertaining Freddie who seemed to want her Sea Island baseball cap that dad bought her back in February. I was a little too excited with the Fredster running around so Dad decided to give me a "pup out" in the crate. I actually like the crate, so it was no big deal to me.

After the Lowndes left, dad was going through one of the photo albums, and tucked away in the back of one book, he found a letter. The letter was from his grandfather Ellis, dated March 15, 1988. In it, Ellis mentions something about buying some travellers checks for a trip. Dad explained he was on his way to Spain that spring - before going to England in the fall. While the cash was long gone, ironically enough there was a FIVE POUND NOTE in the same envelope. The note is over 20 years old - and looks considerable different from the currency today. How pup is that?

Things are getting back to normal with our friends now back across the pond. Mom and Dad have been busy this week with trips to Marlborough, Portland, and Providence to name a few. Dad is off to California as well next week!

As for me - the pup life continues....great walks with Jordan, playtime with Mom and Dad, and generally enjoying a great spring here in the big city!

PTTPs!

Logan

PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE COLIN - who turns 28 today!
