Hey Pupsters -
While sitting at home waiting for mom and dad to come home and load up the car, I caught up on some of my pup reading that has been accumulating around the house. With my busy playgroup schedule, it is hard to keep up sometimes!
I decided to turn the pages of the Charlestown Patriot, the local newspaper here in our town. As a good pup, I try to keep up with the going-ons in my community. When I got to page 7, what did I find???????? It was a new feature called: DOG OF THE WEEK! How about that? Charlestown is a big dog neighborhood....there are all sorts of four legged pups around this place.
Now for the bad news. The dog of the week WAS NOT your super pup LOGAN! NO SIR! It was some AWFUL looking thing called Burla! Burla? Burla? Who the pup is that? I certainly haven't seen her around the Navy Yard or up around the Monument. BURLA? What kind of name is that?
I have been searching feverishly to find a contact for the paper. I think they made a great mistake overlooking this handsome pup! I think I will have dad take my picture and send it to the paper!
Ok, I am off to play with my toys. I am ready to pup this clambake and head up for some fun in New Hampshire. Dad has some new snow boots, so I am hoping he will take me snowshoeing this weekend!

Happy Year of the RAT?
Hey Pupsters!
So I woke up this morning and when I checked my pupberry, I noticed today is the Chinese New Year! I am not sure why the Chinese have a different New Year from the rest of my pups, but I am all for a pup party!
While watching the Today Show, Al Roker said this particular New Year was in fact, the year of the RAT!?? Rat? Are you kidding me? Now mind you, I have never seen a real rat even living in the big city. The only rat I know is Remy from the Walt Disney movie Ratatouille....
I wanted to get to the bottom of this, so I decided to do some pup surfing. I went to Google and what did I find on their pup page??????? RATS! Unbelievable. Well, I have to do some more research to see what this is all about.
It is snowing lightly here in the city - and I beginning to wonder if this pup will see the sun again anytime soon! Can't believe it is only Thursday...Has this been the longest PUP week ever?
Ok, back to my rat research. Stay tuned!

Super Wednesday
Hey Pupsters -
Hope everyone is well and survived the Super Tuesday primary. Mom and Dad went to vote at the Kent School over in Charlestown. I wanted to go and cast my pup ballot, but no such luck! No pups allowed at the polling place!
I had a great day today. Jordan took me to the Fellsway with a bunch of the big dogs! I loved running through the woods! It was raining a bit - and I got a tad dirty which I enjoyed, but as usual, dad didn't share my excitement of mud. Mom and Dad bought some new furniture over the weekend, so they are being even more neat freakish than normal!
Things seem to be getting back to normal in Beantown after the tragic loss of my Pats. I am ready to play in the snow up north this weekend. I miss the snow now that it has all melted here at home! Next weekend is Dad's birthday, and I heard Aunt EE will be coming up to the ski house. As always, it should be a pup time!
Well, I am off to start working on my Valentine's cards!

A Sad Day in Pupville :(

Well Pupsters -
I now know what it feels like to be a New England Sports Fan! WOW! Even with dad and me wearing our jerseys, it wasn't enough for my Pats. What a sad way to end the perfect season.
Were the Giants really the best team in football in 2007? I am not sure, but they certainly outplayed my boys last night.
How many weeks till spring training??????

Loving Saturdays in the Big City
Hey Pupsters -
So, dad didn't want to drive to NH last night as it was raining and icing all along route 16. That was great, but he then decided to have another DATE NIGHT with mom, taking her for a romantic dinner at On the Border Restaurant in Woburn, and then some shopping at the tres chic Burlington Mall. They picked up a few items at Pottery Barn. I heard dad went into the Bose store - and ended up buying a new entertainment center online from Bose later in the evening. Not sure what is up with that.....but more to come...
Today was a great day. I SLEPT LATE WITH MOM AND DAD! I love sleeping in a pack in the sleigh bed with Ralph Lauren bedding! They took me for a long walk around the Navy Yard where I got to meet up with other pups who live at Flagship Wharf and Parris Landing. A couple of pups came running up to me....only for their owners to say they were interested in such a handsome looking dog! Eh HEM! Yes! That is me!
I helped dad cook a romantic dinner for mom. I pupped him how to sear steaks and cook them in the oven. That along with a nice salad and those white beans mom whips up that taste like mashed potatoes, and we had another great high protein dinner. By the way, my dad has lost 15 lbs and he is looking quite pup!
After dinner, we watched the AKC dog show on TV. I must say that Hannah, the Springer spaniel, was ...well...a bit less than puptastic. At any rate, I loved watching the dog show with my mom, and we even fell asleep in the middle of it!
Tomorrow is the big game with the Pats. Dad and I have our jerseys ready. It's time for #12 to make it happen.
I hope all the pups are having a great pup weekend!
