My 150th Blog!

Hi Pupsters -

Another pup milestone for Logan's Express. 150 Blogs! How about that? Who would have thought a Springer Spaniel Pup would have so much to say? One word - PUPTASTIC!

Well, the move-o-rama of furniture has come to an end, at least for now. After riding in conditions worst than economy class by the restroom on an airplane, I finally got to stretch my paws after 3 hours on the road! Boy, did that feel pup! You see, Dad had a queen sized sleigh bed shoved in the back of the 4Runner, leaving not alot of pup for this pup!

Mom was put on "Pledge" patrol (you know, that stuff that makes things smell like lemons) as dad brought in each part of the bed into the ski house. After some pup, dad finally got the bed back together! Voila! It looks pretty pup with all the other furniture and the polo pup bedding.

Today is Sunday - it is SUNNY outside! I want mom to take me for a pupwalk, but she is gabbing on the phone with Grand Pupparent Carolyn about my Aunt Megan's Wedding. Mom, I am ready to play!

Oh, thanks to all the pup fans who sent me notes asking about how I was feeling. Everyone will be happy to know that I am back to my pup self!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Who Pupped My Bed?

Hey Pupsters -

So guess what? I woke up this am, went for a walk, and came back to find.....MY BED MISSING! Now, I don't mean my awesome green LL Bean Pup bed with my name on it that I received from Aunt EE. I mean my SLEEPING bed that I share with mom and dad each night! I came running into the bedroom only to find it GONE!

However, the good news was that with the bed gone, I found all sorts of FUN TOYS that have be AWOL over the past few months....an old rawhide bone, my baby bunny, a few dinosaur eggs, and even a few rubber balls! It was like Pupmas all over again!

Now I heard the old sleigh bed is in the car - ready to make the trip to New Hampshire. Just one question dad....where the pup am I going to sit? Do you think I am going to ride on the roof of the car for 3 hours in the blinding snow? I think pup!

The delivery people from Pottery Barn just left and things seem to be coming together. Funny, the delivery man said "I have been to this house before" and remembered my name, LOGAN! I guess my parents have been doing lots of shopping as of late!

The new bed is quite pup! I don't need a puppy boost to get up there! How pup is that? The new dresser is quite sharp as well. Dad has managed to sell the old one on Craigslist. Hopefully the extra cash means more pup treats!

Ok pupsters, Dad just found out that I have been chewing on a piece of packaging for the last half pup. Gotta Pup!

Under the Pup, but Feeling Better!

Hi Pustpers -

Sorry for the lack of blogs. I have been a bit under the weather. Without going into all the "runny" details, I am feeling pup better and with the bland diet dad has me on, I should be back to my pup self in no time!

I had a great Easter with my friends Robert and Kathy. And speaking of Easter, pup out to my Grand Pupparents Fred and Carolyn for their puptastic Easter Card. Now, the pup on the front was quite cute, but I REALLY liked the PUP BUCKS that were in the card! I can't wait to go to the Pup Store and pick up some of those awesome chicken treats.

I also received a postcard from Aunt EE who was down in Florida watching the Red Sox! How pup is that? I think I like REAL mail better than Pupmail these days. And speaking of the Sox, Japan treated us fairly well winning one game and losing another. But hey, we are one full game ahead of those Yankees! Bring on spring I say!
In other news:

-- The construction outside our Boston house is finally done. My pal Nicholas would be upset to know the trucks are gone, but my dad was happy to see it come to an end!

-- The landscaping company was out in full force the other day doing some pup cleaning....something that makes dad happy as well!

-- I know I mentioned we have more Brits coming to visit - Will and Sarah and their son Freddy. They are staying at the hotel up the street. I can't wait to meet them!

-- Mom and Dad's new bed and dresser come tomorrow and I hear they even picked out a new mattress! Can't wait to dive into that!

-- The pupcast is calling for SNOW tomorrow. Dad - when does this ever end? I am ready for some pup time along the Esplanade!

Hope all the pups are having a great week!

Ducks, Mac, Guests, and St. Pats Treats

Hi Pupsters -

I am relaxing here in North Conway with my friends Robert and Kathy along with Mom and Dad. Life has been good as of late - though I am still waiting to be named dog of the week in the local paper! Items of interest:

-- I received an awesome gift bag from Grand Pupparents Fred and Carolyn. It was full of great treats, and yes, another DUCK. I love this thing - perhaps a little too much as I was quick to deflate it and eat his foot!

-- I went to Four Your Paws Only today and received my special Easter Egg! It was filled with the liver freeze dried treats - the ones I love and the ones that make dad wretch!

-- I got to play out in the snow with the field springer next door. His name is MAC and he is a great ball player! We had a blast running through the snow. He lives in the unit that Mom and Dad used to rent!

-- Kathy and Robert have allowed me to hang out with them, sit on them, and in general, enjoy my puptastic self! I have been all PUP all the time with them this weekend!

-- Thanks for all the pupmail on my last blog about the Labradoodle. Apparently everyone had a good pup with that.

-- The Easter PUP comes tomorrow, and I can't wait. I hope he can hide the eggs with all the snow we have outside!

Happy Easter to all.

I Turn My Pup on the Labradoodle!

Morning Pupsters -

So, I am hanging out this am in my pup robe and reading the local Charlestown paper, when what do I come across? You may remember that the paper features a dog of the week.

Well, I see this THING in the paper called Bridget, who won the distinction of pup of the week. And get this....she is a LABRADOODLE! What the PUP is a labradoodle? It sounds like a science experiment gone bad if you ask me! I can't believe it! With over 150 blogs under my pup belt, this is the BEST the Charlestown Patriot Bridge Newspaper can find?????

When dad gets home, I am going to have him start a letter writing campaign. Stuff the pup box I say! A Labradoodle...good pup!

At any rate, glad the weekend is here. Dad was in Maine this week - which I hear is the land of lobsters. Sounds like a curious creature that I must check out this summer!

Mom and Dad also had their DATE NIGHT at Rocca on Tuesday in the South End. I heard it is quite the pup place and that the food was good. But if you ask me, enough already with the date nights without yours truly!

Looks like 5 inches of new snow up north for tomorrow. Will it ever end?

I hear the Easter Pup comes next weekend. We have guests up at the ski house for Easter, Robert and Kathy, who visited us back in the fall. It should be lots of fun!

Also got word this week that we have more British visitors coming to Boston in April. It is Simon's buddy Will and his wife and son Freddie. Will also went to school with Dad and Simon at Hurstpierpoint College in the UK. More to come on that in the coming pups!

Hope all the pupsters had a great week!

Monday's Musings....

Hi Pupsters -

Happy Monday! The sun is shining, the days are longer, and your pup hero is doing all his favorite things!

Here are a couple of quick updates before I head out:

-- Mom and dad didn't ski on Saturday and instead did a number of errands. Exciting things like going to Hanafords, the Polo and Brooks Brothers Outlets, and taking yours truly to PLAYGROUP at Four Your Paws Only!

-- I, of course, was the hit of the pups in NH. I had been groomed just the day before so everyone was commenting on my beautiful and CLEAN pup coat!

-- The Red Sox flag is flying again atop of the Jones Chalet in North Conway. I can't wait till the season starts! And how about those Celtics!

-- I heard my pal Nicholas was skiing up a storm this weekend - going all the way to the top of Mt. Attitash! Way to go Nick! I want to come and see you rip it up!

-- Mom and Dad bought new bedding for our bedroom at home. Ah yes, Ralph Lauren River Rock collection. Sooooooooo comfy! I hardly want to get up in the morning these days!

-- Dad had a busy day today and Mom had to go to Rhode Island (still need to figure out where that is!) so I got another day of PUP time with Jordan. AWESOME!

-- Dad got an email from another classmate of his from Hurstpierpoint College. It sounds like his buddy Will and his family are coming to New York City and Boston for a vacation in April! Can't wait to show them how PUPTASTIC I am. I just pup that funny British accent!

-- We also got an email from Bobby and Kathy, and they want to come visit us in New Hampshire again! I had such fun when they were here the last time!

-- This week is Restaurant Week in Boston where all the restaurants have a three course dinner for only $30.08. No bad eh? Dad is taking Mom to Rocca in the South End tomorrow. This sounds like another hot and heavy date night to me - which means I get time in my CRATE! What fun is this?

Soaking up a Saturday

Hi Pupsters -

Greetings from the Granite State. We arrived last night around 7:30pm and boy is there still alot of snow here! Today is not exactly a pup ski day, so mom and dad are drinking their coffee and reading the paper. Mom has pupped together a list for a trip to Walmart, and I think we might even stop by Four Your Paws Only for a some pup time around 11am!

Yesterday, I went to Toureen for a pup cut, and I must say, I look puptastic! They gave me a bright purple bandana, which makes me look like the Easter PUP!

My parents have a mirror in the bedroom, and I just love waking up early and staring at my pup self! Mom thinks its a bit creepy, but it makes dad laugh how much I like looking at myself! Hey, I am a handsome pup, and with my new pup cut....well you get the point.

Other than that, I think it is going to be a fairly relaxing weekend. I hope the rain doesn't last all weekend because I definitely want to go out and play!

I hear Pup Light Savings starts tomorrow! Can't wait to have more PUP light to do some walks when Mom and Dad get home from work!

Hope all the pups had a great week, have your paws up on the table, and are enjoying this wet Saturday!

Death of a Duck

Hey Pupsters -

Long time no pup! I have been a bit pup going to play group, playing with my toys, and having fun with mom and dad.

While dad was away last week, mom picked up a few "treats" for me over at Skiptons. Skiptons is the cool pet shop where I used to go to training at the Pawsitive Dog! Mom found these PUPTASTIC chicken treats. She overheard the sales person telling an owner of a "treat picky " pup, that these things were THE PUP! BOY, was he right! I LOVE THEM! Put them in my crate and I RUN IN THERE FULL SPEED. Ask me to do anything and if you have one of these things in your hand, you will have my FULL attention!

In addition to these treats, mom bought me a DUCK! Now, we all know that Springers are FIELD dogs. I LOVE THE DUCK. It makes a cool duck noise which makes my dad roll his eyes! And guess what...I have been able to tear the duck apart! Yep, that's right, I have opened up the duck and ripped out its insides.....In fact, the duck fluff is all over the living room floor. As usual, Dad doesn't seem too happy about this, but hey, I am a bird PUP!

Ok...Lost is on TV - so it's time to hang out on the pupottoman with dad.

Power to the DUCKS! heheheh... Just kidding.

Mimi - my new pup friend!

Hi Pupsters -

So dad finally got back from his business trip to Jacksonville, FL. He was there for a couple of days for an "offsite". (How do I get a pup offsite??) He then went to visit his grandmother (my great- grandpup-parent) Mimi, who lives in Sea Island, GA. I was going through dad's digital camera and found all sorts of pictures and I asked dad to tell me more about this woman named Mimi. (What a pup name, eh? )

Mimi is 91 years pup and lives in Sea Island, GA, a beautiful resort located 70 miles north of the Jacksonville, Florida. While in Sea Island, dad was able to catch up with Mimi, whom he hadn't seen since my uncle Brian's birthday in Newport last spring.

Dad took Mimi to her weekly painting class over in Brunswick, GA. Mimi is quite the accomplished painter. One of her works hangs in in my parent's bedroom in Boston! The picture below is Mimi in her painting smock as she was putting the finishing touches on her PUP masterpiece!

I heard dad and Mimi were all over town - lunch at the Frederica Cafe, dinner at the Ocean Forest Club the first night, and dinner at the Cloister on the second night! Mimi was quite the tour guide, showing dad the new beach club and the new spa!

Dad even picked up a few gifts for mom including a very pink Sea Island hat, and a very preppy Vineyard Vines Sea Island Beach Bag! I, however, am still waiting for my gift! After all, I was a very good pup all week!

I had so much fun hearing about Mimi and this Sea Island place sounds totally PUP to me! Dad, when are we driving down there?

We are at the ski house, and I have to tell you about all the new snow up here, but that is a topic of another blog.......
