More Thursday's Thoughts....

Hey Pupsters:

- Gearing up for the big game!!! I can't wait!

- Not sure if we are heading to the ski house or not this weekend. I think mom and dad want to be home to watch the game on the big tv....we'll see!

- Construction is still ongoing outside the Boston house. I like to jump up on the couch and look out the window at the workmen. Dad doesn't seem to like me doing this though!

- The sun is shining - and I am off to my pup walk with Vit and Jordan.

- Season premier of Lost is on tonight! I know my dad is thrilled to see it and not watch reruns of "What Not to Wear" or Ice Skating (favorites of mom's when she has the pup control!)

- I hear Valentine's Day is around the corner....not sure what that is all about. More to pup on that!

- And what is this about Groundhog Day???? I think Feb 2nd should be LOGAN Day....and if I see my shadow, we all run around in circles with excitement! What do you think?

- All pups should get out to vote on Super Tuesday. I am not on the ballot this year, but maybe sometime in the future!

Time for the PATS!

Hey Pupsters -

Sorry I have been away from the blog for a few days. Things have been busy over the last week or so. I made it to the groomer on Friday for a bath and a pup cut. I must say, I look quite smashing!

And of course, we all know the Patriots are heading to Arizona to meet the Giants in the SUPER BOWL. The other day, Aunt EE sent me an email with the attached cover of the NY Post! What in the world????? TOM BRADY GIRLIE MAN? Are you kidding me? What the pup?????? So far, this pup has been kind of quiet about our football team. I know that many people read my blog across the US and abroad and people get tired of hearing how great a sports town I live in! But this pup will not sit idle.....GIRLIE MAN? Thanks for the PUP UP EE!

To show my support, Mom bought me my OWN NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS JERSEY with my name on it! Yes, you might think number 12 is Tom Brady, but on this pup, number 12 says LOGAN! I want to get a picture of me and dad wearing our PATS jerseys...perhaps mom will do that later today. Dad even has CROCS with the Patriots logo! And with the big screen TV dad bought for the World Series, we are ready to roll! Bring on those New York Pups!

We just got back to Boston from a weekend of skiing. At least mom and dad did some skiing with Don and Nancy, and another friend from Dad's work, Karen. I hear the conditions were epic, and it was almost a bluebird day! But somewhere in all our excitement, we clearly forgot to watch the weather report. When Mom took me out for my morning potty, IT WAS SNOWING AGAIN! Back here by the water, the wind is howling and the snow is still flying!

Well, I am happy to be home. I hope all the pups are enjoying the weekend, and have a great week!

Pats, Snow, and Fleece Socks

Hi Pupsters -

Just back from...yes you guessed it...NEW HAMPSHIRE. And while the phone has stopped ringing with politicians asking for my pup vote, it still was a fun weekend.

First, we had a few inches of snow! Check out the truck that came by to clear the driveway! My pal Nicholas would LOVE this one! Very cool!

And the Patriots....what can a pup say? Tom Pup Brady and team wrapped up the AFC Championship the other night. On to the PUP BOWL we go! Dad has had the Patriot's flag flying outside the ski condo for the last few weeks. He is superstitious and won't take it down when we leave. Usually the flag lets everyone know that your favorite pup is in residence...sort of like the Queen of England! Well, that flag will be there until our work in Phoenix is done!

Lastly, mom bought some new FLEECE socks at EMS the other day. I just love socks and the fact that these are FLEECE is just heaven. I dug a pair out of mom's ski bag when we got back to Boston this afternoon. I know, I know...they aren't pup toys!

I hope all the pups had a good day off. Back to the puppy grind tomorrow (play group, walks, eating, sleeping, you know the drill!)

GO PATS!

Thursday's Thoughts

Hi Pupsters -

Just back from a long day at pup day care. Fun fun fun - but I am ready for a nap. I know I haven't updated the blog in a few days, so I thought I'd share a few things with all the pups:

- Mom woke dad and I up really early (around 5:30am!) as we had water leaking through the recessed lighting in our kitchen. I think dad got it all under control along with our new puperty manager Mario - but dad has been running around all day!

- I also heard dad had to get his driver's license renewed. For some reason, I don't think RMV stands for "reaching maximum velocity"..........

- Dad took me for a long walk the other night along the Harbor. The cool parts were the stretches of boardwalk that HADN'T been shovelled! I just love running through the snow at full pace!

- Dad managed to sell our Crate and Barrel tv stand on Craigslist. A very nice lady came by the house to pick it up today. Dad said he wishes he had 100 of those tv stands based on the number of pupmails he got about it!

- I can't wait for the Pats game. My friends Doug and Julie are going to be up north this weekend. I hope to watch the game with them!

- Shouts out to Grand PupParent Fred in Ft Worth. For some reason, he wants me to wear a TCU scarf. I know he wishes Dallas had beat the Giants last weekend. Sorry Fred, maybe next year :)

OK, enough blogging...this pup needs a nap and I think dad needs a glass of Ravenswood!

Dyson Part II - Revenge of the Clean Freaks!

Hi Pupsters -
Well, it's snowing again here in Beantown. Didn't I just say it was 60 degrees? Craziness!

I had a nice weekend up north. The Patriots are going to the AFC Championship game! Boy, did I come into this world at the right time! First the Red Sox. NOW THE PATS. Mom ordered me my own PERSONALIZED Patriots Jersey - which should be here just in time for the Super Bowl (yes, I am that confident that TB and the boys will be heading to Phoenix.) I am sure my Grand Puparents in Texas are still licking their wounds from yesterday's lost to the Giants!

So, in other news, my dad seemed to like the new Dyson Vacuum cleaner so much that Mom bought him ANOTHER ONE for the ski house. This one is the SLIM version which easily navigates the tight spaces up north. Again, with its Rolls Royce engine, the Dyson leaves no dust, no pup hair, no mess behind! Dad even tried it out when we got the ski house on Friday night, even though they had already cleaned the place before we left last weekend! It is pretty cool - but I tell you - my folks are neat freaks!

I heard the skiing was a bit less than pup due to the rain and warmer temperatures, so mom and dad hit the golf course with their snow shoes. They pupped all over the place including down by the river I played in back in August! They seemed to have a good time - and I clicked a couple of photos of them and posted them below.

Time for another week. I heard we have a three day weekend coming up - so I am looking forward to more play time with mom and dad. I hope all the pups stay warm and enjoy the snow!

Random Pup Thoughts on a Rainy Friday

Hi Pupsters -

All in all, a great week for your pup hero. Play group has been a blast, but yesterday i got ...should I say...a pup muddy. Off to the bath I went as soon as Jordan dropped me off. Dad just finished rolling out new carpet in the living room so he wasn't happy to see how much fun I had at Tall Tails! No worries though, I love baths, water, you name it!

Other thoughts from the week:

...When is this presidential election? My pup there were lots of ads on TV this week. I am not sure we have a clear candidate who will represent the pups though....more on that I am sure!

...First we had tons of snow and cold temperatures. Now it is 60 pup degrees! Dad even went for a jog outside - shorts and all! New England sure has strange weather.

...The construction across from our Boston home continues. I understand they are putting in a new drainage system. To me, it is just interrupting my favorite potty place.

...We have a new pup supervisor in our building. His name is Mario and he is very cool.

...Mom continues her knitting craze as I think she is now onto baby blankets (not for her - but for friends with pups on the way!)

...I am still loving my new pup bed with my name on it from Aunt EE! This thing is sure posh!

Hopefully mom and dad will get home in good time today so we can get to the ski house. I hope the snow has held together up north! I am ready to do some snow pup shoeing!

Have a pup weekend!

PS - I THINK I JUST HEARD THUNDER OUTSIDE????!!!

The calendars may say January, but it is still PUPMAS to me!

Hey Pupsters -

It's 64 balmy degrees here in Beantown. WOW! The snow is melting and I am just back from pup group. As always, I love running around with all my pups.

Well the temperature might say spring, but when I got home, there was ANOTHER huge package addressed to your pup! Yes, a present for Mr. Logan!

Dad helped me out with this HUGE BOX! When I opened it, I noticed it was from my Aunt EE from RI. So what did I get???????????? A NEW LL BEAN BED with my name, LOGAN, on it! Very cool. No chance dad is going to be stealing my spot now!

Aunt EE was supposed to visit us in North Conway over New Years but she came down with a bug. Nonetheless, I am so excited about this gift! First Nigella, now LL Bean! What more could a pup ask for? It's the 12 days of Pupmas for this PUP!

And speaking of gifts, Mom finished yet ANOTHER sweater for your favorite pup! This one is gray and has a turtleneck and cable knit pattern! I must say, I look smashing in it!

Other than that, I am just trying to get back to my routine after the holidays. Thanks to everyone for your pup mail! I love pup mail! Shouts out to Peyton who lives in Texas. She signed the blog the other day - and says she LOVES my pup blog! Another Logan's Express fan!

At any rate, hope all the pups get out to enjoy the weather. I hear that it can change on a dime in New England...something I am quickly pupping!

Logan - the International Pup of Mystery!

Hey Pupsters -

Just back from another weekend in ski country. Yes, tons and tons of snow remain in the White Mountains. But now I am home and catching up on pup mail and my pup blog!

While reviewing some of the blog stats, I came across an interesting entry on my YouTube page. Apparently some young lady named JennyCee1232 signed one of my YouTube Christmas videos! In fact, to quote, she says "aww cute :) "! How about that! Your pup is now getting world wide attention. According to her YouTube page, JennyCee1232 is 15 years old and lives in the United Kingdom. Now, I am not sure how she actually got to my video, but I am happy she liked it - and thinks I am CUTE!

Another week is about to begin. Looks like the weather will be quite warm (by Boston standards) for the next few days. Maybe Jordan will take me and the other pups for an outdoor walk this week!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

GO PATS!

Noodling Nigella in the New Year

Hey Pupsters - and happy new year! (The year of the PUP!)

Back in Beantown after nearly 2 weeks at the ski house! We left early yesterday to beat the snow! Another FOOT of the pup stuff flew! We are going back up on Friday after mom and dad finish up some work.

Many of you have sent me pup mail about my cooking. Fear not! I will have more pup cooking ideas in the near future. Mom has been hogging the kitchen lately - as she has been trying all sorts of new creations.

In the meantime, when I got back home yesterday, there was a package for me from Amazon.com! Yes, a big brown package that said LOGAN! I pupped it open in a flash, and found a copy of Nigella's cookbook from my GAC! (Great Aunt Casey - you remember my blog on boozy cherries?!)

I can't wait to read through it and whip up some new pup creations! Stay tuned for more!

Other than that, I got to go back to play group today with my pups. BRRRRR! It is cold here in Boston, but I certainly had a blast running around with the gang. Although I love the ski house, I am happy to be back in the big city if only for a few days!

Happy New Year to all Logan's Express pupsters and fans!
