Hey Pupsters -
Guess what? Look what I found outside my front door when I went out this morning! I think Santa dropped off an early Christmas present! Look at the size of this bulldozer! I got to run around it, smell it, and even take a few pictures in front of it.
Now, for some reason, Dad doesn't share my excitement about this arrival. I overheard him talking to the Puperty Manager about the installation of drainage basins along 2ND Ave.
Dad doesn't like a mess - and I can tell he is not happy about this latest development. I heard we are having a Christmas party at our house this weekend (more to come on that) and Dad said "of course they would be digging up the yard the one time we have guests over!"
Oh well, I think this truck is REALLY COOL. I bet my pal Nicholas would love to come over and sit on it as well!
Thank god it's pup day! I just had a bath, and now I am ready to go out and PLAY.
Hope all the pups have a great weekend!

My 100th BLOG!
Hey Pupsters -
Just back from puppy daycare and phew, I am pupped out. However, I have some exciting news to share. First, this is my 100th BLOG! Can you believe it? It just seems like yesterday that I jumped on dad's laptop and started blogging about the life of a pup! 100 BLOGS! I should get some award for that!
And speaking of awards, last night was my LAST puppy training class at the PAWSITIVE DAWG. We practiced down and dropping the leash while all of the other pup owners walked around me. I did REALLY well - especially when mom kept throwing those yummy treats at me!
So eight puppy training classes and 17 weeks later, I am official! I had my puppy graduation and received my diploma! How about that? Not too shabby! Jennifer, the owner of the Pawsitive Dawg, said I would be great to continue to advanced training. I say bring it on, but I think dad just kept hearing...ka-ching!
I think we are going to take a break for the holidays and look into more training in the spring. I know dad wants me to get my AKC Good Citizen Award! That should be fun!
So last night I said goodbye to Lucy the westie, Fenway the labrador, and Diesel the puggle. I hope to see them all again.
Well pupsters, thanks for following the blog. 100 Blogs! Hooray!

My mom is knitting me a sweater! (That's a Jumper for our British Readers!)
Hey Pupsters -
Ah yes...mountain air, beautiful views, and COLD TEMPERATURES! Brrrrrrr! Thankfully, mom has taken up a new hobby, KNITTING! She has been working diligently over the past few days on a new cranberry red sweater for your favorite pupster! Now, my mom looks a bit young to be wielding knitting needles, but she seem to be getting the hang of it! In fact, I think she is working on a second one for my aunt Samantha down in Rhode Island! Mom's skill has greatly improved from a few weeks ago when she was trying to knit a scarf. Let me just say that some of the cast offs have become pot holders instead!
More to come - including a photo of me when the new sweater is complete!
Other than that, my family is enjoying a few relaxing days in the mountains. They went to see the new Warren Miller ski film last night over at Bretton Woods (not sure why they didn't invite me, but I guess someone had to guard the ski house).
The sun is out today, so I am hoping to got on a pupabout when mom and dad get back from skiing!
Hope everyone is puptastic!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey Pupsters -
Happy Thanksgiving from Mt Washington Valley. Phew, it has been a busy few days! We arrived at the ski house the other night and guess what?????? SNOW!!!! My first real snow. I ran around a bit in it and even tasted it! What fun! I think I am really going to love WINTER! I say LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!
Last night, Mom and Dad put the Christmas tree up at the ski house. Now, I know what you are thinking. Do the Joneses have to be first at everything?? Well, YES, but that isn't the reason. Apparently we won't be up here next weekend, so dad decided why not enjoy the season a bit early! And guess what? There is a LOGAN ornament on the tree! Yes indeed!
Mom has been busy cooking. I haven't seen any emergency calls to Martha Stewart this morning, so I think we are in good shape. The whole house smells puptastic. Check out a picture of that roast! I think I will send a picture of it to my great aunt Casey for her cooking blog!
In other news, I received a pupmail from my buddy Simon from England. He and Louise made it back to the UK safely (and dare I say through Customs with all of the shopping they did!)
Simon wrote: " Hey Logan, Just to let you know we arrived safely in the UK and our boys are now proud owners of Red Sox caps (photos will follow). Heard you're getting some snow so make sure you get yourself a good scarf! Have a great thanksgiving and thanks again for your puptastic hospitality in Boston."
And speaking of scarfs...mom is knitting me a red sweater. More to follow on this exciting event!
Best wishes to all of my family, friends, and blog readers for a very Happy and Puptastic Thanksgiving!

Logan's first snow!
Hey Pupsters -
Logan's dad here. Well, after hearing all about the white stuff, Logan got to see it first hand today. He could hardly hide his excitement when the dog walker arrived at our door this morning! I am sure he will have all sorts of stories upon his return.
More to come on this exciting event!

Visitors from across the pond!
Hey Pupsters-
It's been a while since my last blog. Things have been busy here in Beantown.
I have been playing with Simon and Louise who live in England and came to visit us for a few days. Apparently, Dad and Simon went to school together at Hurstpierpoint College in the south of England. It was Simon's first trip to the US, and as avid readers of Logan's Express, I was keen to make sure they felt at home.
I loved playing with both of them...although sometimes I forgot my manners and jumped up on them. However, I was able to show them how adorable I am!
Mom and Dad kept the Henkels busy by showing them all over Boston including a famous Boston Duck Tour! I also heard alot of shopping was done, as the Britsh Pound is absolutely puptastic right now!
Last night, Dad and Simon went to see Bruce Springsteen at the Pup Garden! Simon is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. Sporting his new Boston Red Sox cap (puptasic I say!), Simon and Dad hit the town.
Today, Simon and Louise fly back to London (where is my pup atlas?) I had lots of fun with both of them, and hope they come back to visit soon!
This week is Thanksgiving, and word on the street is that we are heading north to New Hampshire tomorrow night! Can't wait to see what all this pupsense is about TURKEY?!
Have a PUP week!

I could have been a Seseme Street character
Hey Pupsters -
So there is a story that most of you probably don't know. My name originally was supposed to be GROVER! There were many reasons for it - namely it was close to my uncle GRIGSBY who passed away last year. Additionally, dad had a fraternity brother who had a black Labrador whose name was Grover. Pretty cool eh?
Well, mom wasn't too thrilled about this. She tried Jackson (the name of the town next to us at the ski house) amongst others. However, dad was convinced of Grover.
Then, Easter came around. While at the family country club, Mom was telling dad's grandmother Mimi about the name of Grover. Well, according to the story, Mimi made a sour face equivalent to drinking a glass of sweetarts! Not a good sign for dad, I must say.......
So that was it! No Grover in Charlestown!
Funny thing happened today when dad was reading the local paper today at the ski house. THERE WAS A SPRINGER SPANIEL NAMED GROVER up for adoption! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT IS UP WITH THIS? IS IT FOR REAL?
Funny how life imitates art...or pups!
Below is mom with Mt Washington in the background. FINALLY, some snow!!!!!!!!

Missing in action and the English Patient
Hey Pupsters -
Phew, what a busy week! Dad was in Dallas for the week, so Mom and I held down the fort. On Monday, let's just say I got home from daycare a little late. I was having a blast with all my pup friends and didn't even notice that it was AFTER 7pm. Of course, Mom came home and became quiet distraught that I was MIA! She frantically called Dad (who was on an airplane at the time) and then called Jordan the pup walker (after tracking down his cell phone number). Apparently they let me stay for the full daycare day and I was going to be on the last drop off! At any rate, Jordan got me home, and all was well!
Fast forward to today. Dad came home late last night and I was excited to play with him today. However, I thought something was odd when we were up early and on our way somewhere in the car. Oh, it was my friends at the Massachusetts Medical Center! Hmmmmm....why is dad leaving me here, I wondered.
So, without going into the details, I had my little boy surgery today. All went well - and I didn't even notice a thing. Even better, when dad came to pick me up, I ran right out to him. Dad bought me a couple of new bully sticks and this great new stuffed frog! For those keeping track, I did get to jump on the scale. I am now 36lbs of pure pup.
Now, there was this passing thought about me wearing this lampshade around my neck! I THINK NOT! That thing doesn't exactly make me look puptastic....so I am being good and not licking/chewing my wound.
So, we are up at the ski house. Mom is taking up knitting and is currently working on a scarf. I wonder if it's for me! Dad is off to Salt Lake City this week, and then the Henkels come to visit from England next weekend. We seem to have quite the social calendar these days!

What's up with Eastern Standard Time?
Hi Pupsters -
Greetings from Boston. I am back home watching the Pats (who aren't exactly looking puptastic at the moment!)
We had a great weekend up at the ski house. I went on lots of walks - and chased about 1000 leaves! The wind was pretty strong, so I was having a blast trying to catch them all!
After my walks I was pupped out! Dad wanted some help raking leaves and cleaning the ski house, but as you can see, I decided to take a pup break right by the trash. Come on dad! You expect me to help you clean?!
Dad is off this week on business - so I am getting an extra day at puppy daycare! It should be awesome. I had a nice bath this weekend so I am all ready to get dirty again!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Oh wait! Why is it 4pm and pitch black out????? YIKES!

Bring on the Turkeys!

Hey Pupsters -
Today I thought I would try updating my blog from my pupberry! We pups need to keep up with all the latest and greatest technology!
So, what have I been up to? Well, there was that crazy Lobsta costume that my dad made me wear! I told him if I had to be a lobsta he had to dress up like the Gordon Fisherman! That would have been a picture - but no such luck.
At training on Monday, I dressed up in my Red Sox Jersey. Jennifer said anyone who dressed up would get a special treat at class. My buddy Diesel (who is a puggle) had his Florida Gator jersey on - and the two of us got to pick out a special doggie toy from a huge box!
Dad wanted to pick the stuffed Frankenstein, but mom decided to get the turkey. Now, let me tell you about this turkey. This turkey makes the WORST gobble gobble noise. I think dad was swearing about getting another toy that makes noise! However, this gobble gobble scares the PUP out of me every time I push the button. It's not a lovable squeak like all my other toys - but more of a ear shrilling gobble that would wake even the soundest sleeping pups!
Dad has replaced the turkey for the time being with a bully stick (yummy!). I think he is trying to get some work done!
At any rate, looks like a Nor'easter is moving in for the weekend. It seems to rain on every Saturday these days! Looks like more indoor fetch for me!
Hope all the pups have a good weekend.
