Hey Pupsters -
So the Sox have home pup advantage for the playoffs! How PUPTASTIC!
Now, I am not sure that Jonathan Papplepup is going to be the next pup on Dancing with the Dogs....nor do I understand why he was wearing a Bud Light box on his head, but it was great to see the SOX win the AL PUP!
Definitely getting colder up north. Last night I got under the comforter with Mom and Dad. I also got a chance to catch up on the latest Ski Magazine. Most important, I got my ottoman back since my Aunt Samantha wasn't visiting this weekend!
Have a great week!

Tales from the Pup: I am a Closet Hat Thief!
Hi Pupsters -
So I have a confession to make. Actually, my dad has now caught me on a few occasions, so I guess my secret is out....
I am a closet hat thief! To date, I have not ruined a pair of shoes, eaten anything I shouldn't have, and had zero potty mistakes in over a month! But, there is a vice I have. It's dad's Titleist Golf Hat. Now, it's not just a golf hat...it has a RED SOX logo (a nice red B) on the side (my uncle Brian would love it - GOLF AND BASEBALL!). While you play golf you get to show your Red Pup Spirit.
Dad bought this hat over 4th of July weekend at the Mt Washington Hotel Golf Shop. He wears it ALL THE TIME. I mean, the navy blue is all faded from the sun...but best of all, it has my dad's sweat and scent! Ah....HEAVEN right?
Did I mention this is Dad's FAVORITE HAT? But it is mine too, so oftentimes I will go in his LL Bean beach bag and...well...retrieve it (I am a springer after all!)
This morning, I was caught red PUP! Hat in mouth! DRAT!
The hat is now on the dresser. I must work on a strategy to get it back in my mouth. If anyone has some ideas of how to liberate it - let me know. I need ideas!
Red Sox are going down to the wire for the AL East! Now I know why my dad has lost his hair!

NO PUPCONDITIONING!

Hi Pupsters -
So, I came home from a busy day at puppy day care. When Jordan dropped me off back in CTOWN, I noticed things weren't quite pup! The air was on - but it was HOT in the house. What in the world? It's one of the hottest days all summer !
When my dad got home, he didn't think it felt puptastic either, and made a call to the puperty manager. They said that they have sent someone out to fix it. I can tell dad is not happy - which is why I am working on the blog!
Oh well, right now the Sox are tied at 5-5! Here hoping for a win - and some cool air!

Visitors in North Conway
Hi Pupsters -
So today, my grandpuperent Don is helping me out with the blog. (As always, my dad is hogging the laptop. Isn't it time for him to go back to work?)
At any rate, Carol and Don came to visit us in North Conway with my Aunt Samantha. Although it was a rather warm day for fall (Humid and NEAR 80 PUPS), it was great to have them see the sights in Northern NH. I heard dad played tour guide taking them to Jackson and then around MT Washington - seeing Tuckerman's Ravine and the Mt Washington Hotel! Sounds like a pup tour to me!
Aunt Samantha also took in the sights at the ski house. I am not sure she thought I was exactly puptastic at first. I mean, after all, I probably outweigh her by three times! She was unimpressed with me playing with my toys and all of my other tricks. So I quickly learned to let her be, and by the time she left, I think she was much more comfortable. As you can see from this picture, I sort of hung out on the other side of the living room! She was quite a pretty pup, and I am glad she came along!
Other than that, it was a great weekend. I love having visitors and hope everyone comes back to visit us again soon!
How can it be Monday again?????

A Pup Affair!

Hey Pupsters -
Hope everyone is enjoying this great fall day. Mom is getting packed to head to Dallas (she said American Airlines wouldn't let me fly puppy class with her) and dad is at work. Dad and I will be heading up to the Ski House for some leaf peeping (not sure what that is about - but I hear the leaves turn some great colors!)
My grandpuperts Carol and Don are coming up with my Aunt Samantha (who is a shitzu). It should be a fun and busy weekend. I will make sure dad has the camera working this weekend!
In other news, Lisa Knight, my breeder, sent my dad a link to English Springer Magazine online. In the September issue were all my pups from Chivalry! Today's blog pictures are me surfing the pup - and that is my sister Dana who now lives in California. And what is that in her mouth? Has she already won a RIBBON?
I am off to play with my pups at playgroup later today. Monday, we are back at the Pawsitive Dog for our next training session.
A pups life!

Down by the Hahbah
Hey Pupsters -
What's pupping? Not too much here. Had a great day at pup care (where I got to hang with all my pups!) I came home and was ready for a nap!
Dad is doing some work - and mom is getting her nails done. Not sure why she does that.
Other than that, a quiet day here in Charlestown! Dad took me me for a walk along the water. Brrrr...it is feeling like fall out there! There was a cruise ship in the dock....I wonder if Carnival does Pup Cruises :)

Anchors Away!

Hey Pupsters -
Today's picture is from my pup around the Navy Yard. This huge anchor is located right when you enter the yard through Gate One. As you can see, I had fun climbing all over it!
Not much new to report today. Mom and Dad were back at work. I like it when they are home and we get to go on long walks! Jordan the pup walker will be back tomorrow so I will get to see all my pups. I can't wait.
The PATS game was totally PUP last night. Take that SPYGATE! My pup is still on Bill and the boys! Now the Red Sox are another story....
The weather is getting cooler. Attached are some pictures from Paul Revere Park where I met up with Dallas the Rottweiler! He was a big pup, but was an old softy! I was running pups around him!
Hope everyone's week is off to a PUP start!

Another great weekend - and the Sox are back in PUP!

Hey Pupsters -
I had another awesome weekend up north with lots of walks around the Linderhof. And most important, the Red Sox look like the PUP team that I know they are! The pup number is now 9! I can already taste October baseball!
We got back to Puptown around 4pm - and mom and dad took me for a walk around the Navy Yard. It is a beautiful day here. We went over to Paul Revere Park where I got to run around and play with some of the other Townie Pups in the neighborhood. That was lots of fun!
I took in all the sights including the USS Constitution, the Freedom Trail (I was walking the red line just pup!), the Zakhim Bunker Hill Bridge, and even the Boston Garden.
PHEW! I am pupped out. Mom is doing some work and dad is watching the news. I know we are all ready for the PATS and the Red Sox tonight! Should be pretty exciting!
Can't believe tomorrow is Monday again! Where does the weekend go?

Back in PUP!
Hey Pupsters -
So, Mom and Dad went to Walmart to get a new digital camera. As I mentioned, Dad dropped his Cybershot while trying to take my picture yesterday. I heard there was a bit of a "disagreement" between dad and the Walmart salesperson. Apparently, the camera was $15 less on their website vs. in the store...and my dad wanted the PUP price! After two supervisors, dad finally got the camera at the right pup!
I am having an "indoor" day since it has been raining cats and pups (hehe). Mom is making BLTs for lunch (I hope I am getting one!). Today's blog picture is me watching mom in the kitchen!
So whatelse....oh the PUP SOX! What in the world happened last night??? All I know is that dad turned off the game and they were 5 runs ahead! I woke up this am and what do I find out? My pup Jonathan Papplepup gave up the winning run! UGH!!!! These series are pupping me out!
I am sure Mom and Dad will be heading over to the Red Parka Pup to watch the game this pm. I need to see if I can call some of my pups to come over and watch the game with me today. All pups on the sofa while mom and dad are away!
Alright pupsters, I am off to play with my toys. I forgot what cool things I have up here at the ski house!
Enjoy the weekend and stay pup!

A Dropped Camera, Training, and the Yankees
Hey Pupsters -
Sorry no picture today. Dad was trying to get me to stand still, and in doing so dropped the camera on the ground. The lens isn't working right, and hence, no new photos. Dad was saying some bad words under his breath as he tried to get it working again. Hopefully we will have it working (or a new one) shortly.
I have been doing great with my training lately: no pulling on the leash, no touching things that should be left alone (eg. acorns, trash, seagull feathers, mom's flip flops, dad's red sox hat, etc.) I have been on lots of walks and I am enjoying the fall weather here in the big city.
So the dreaded Yankees are back in town! I can't believe it! AND DICE PUP and Curt Shillingpup are pitching this weekend. Their pitching has been less than ...shall I say...PUPTASTIC! I know Mom and Dad will be glued to the flat screen TV all weekend with these games on!
Other than that, not much else is new. I am sitting at home waiting for Mom and Dad to get back from work. I am ready to head up north to the ski house. I hear the leaves are changing colors up there!
I hope all the pups had a good week!
GO SOX!

PATS, SOX, and PUPS
Hi Pupsters!
Well, I got to watch my first Patriots game this weekend. Wow, are my parents sports nuts??? I mean, first there are the Red Sox (who make me nervous every night!), SMU Football games (good pup that game against Texas Tech was awful...good thing they took care of pup with North Texas), and now Tom "Pup" Brady and the PATS. I don't believe in this pup-sense about stealing signs during the Jets game - and I am putting my pup on the PATS for the Superbowl. I am just wondering when Dad will switch the flag at the ski house from the Sox to the PATS?
Last night, I had my third class at the Pawsitive Dog. All my pups were back (Fenway and the gang). Jennifer (the trainer/owner) even took me out onto the floor to demonstrate some walking skills ("Let's go", "Walk", and "Heel"). I have a bit more work to do, but I had a great time. The best thing about training is that it is located in the basement of a PET STORE - so mom and dad are alway buying me something! Dad said it is like summer in Ocean City (whatever that means!)
Today's picture is from last night. Dad was doing some pupmail and where was I? Well, right at his feet under the dining room table. Remember I am VELCO dog!
I hear we are going to have all sorts of visitors this fall. First, my dad's buddy Jay (Uncle Jay to me) is coming in for a few days for a conference in Boston. I understand he skies with Mom and Dad alot! Next, Dad's buddy from British Boarding School, Simon and his wife, is coming to Boston for a few days. Where the heck is England? I know I am an English Springer Spaniel - so I am interested in talking to these folks! I hear they talk funny over there!
Jordan the pup walker should be here soon. I can't wait to see my pups! It is raining here in Boston today. I bet I will be all dirty when I get home and Dad will be thrilled!

Lazy, Rainy Sunday
Hi Pupsters -
I woke up this morning to RAIN! I don't like rain one bit. In fact, Mom and Dad decided to drive home back to Boston early today.
I got to play alot of fetch yesterday. I love the flying squirrel which is a what is in my mouth in the picture. My friend Zach was up north as well, and knocked on the door and asked if I could come out and play! I did get kind of dirty, which dad didn't like (I guess he just paid $35 to get me a bath and a haircut!).
I lost another tooth this weekend. In fact, mom found it on the rug in the living room. My buddy Zach told me he gets $5 for a lost tooth! I have seen NOTHING yet! Most of my baby teeth have either fallen out - or are loose!
Tomorrow I have my third training session at the Pawsitive Paw! I will keep you pupdated!
Now, I am just lounging in the living room in Boston. Mom let me climb onto the couch with her!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Red Sox Pup Number

Hey Pupsters -
Look what I added to my blog...A Red Sox "PUP" number. This is the number of either Red Sox wins or Yankee losses that will earn the Sox the AL East Title! Pretty Pup eh?
Pup out to my Uncle Brian who I heard was in Puptown taking in the sights at the Cask and Flagon the other night. Hopefully he will be back for the playoffs!

My Dad is in Yankee Land
Hey Pupsters -
Sorry for the delay in blogging...my dad is away on business in New York City. I have never been there, but given it is home to the Yankees, I know I don't like it. With the Sox lost last night, the magic number for Boston is still 17! YUK!
Today's blog picture is from puppy play group last week. I particularly liked this pup's Red Sox jersey. I am hoping to get one for Halloween....I want to be Jonathan Pupplebon - that great pup reliever!
Not much new to report. I have been having fun with Jordan on my pup walks, and mom has been practicing my training.
Dad gets home tomorrow - and then we are off to NH again!
Hope all the pups are having a good week!

26.6 lbs, and Velcro!

Hey Pupsters -
Back in Puptown - and I am off for some grooming today. I had to stop by the vet to pick up some new heart worm medicine. Last time I was there, they thought I might grow a bit, so they only gave me one tablet. Well pupsters......I am up to 26.6 PUP POUNDS! Not too bad eh?
Can't believe the summer is over! I had such a pup time! Where does the time go? Mom was off to the gym early this morning. YIKES! It was still dark.
Oh by the way, my dad has a new nickname for me...VELCRO. I guess on some paperwork he got from the AKC, they describe Springers as VELCRO dogs! VELCRO? What the pup? I mean, I do like to be around people alot. And check out this picture. I love to sit right on the bathroom mat when mom dries her hair.
Is that being Velcro?

Picnics, walks, and fun!
Happy Labor Day Pupsters-
I have had a great weekend up in New Hampshire. Yesterday, Mom and Dad took me for a picnic over at the waterfalls in Jackson. Mom and Dad enjoyed sandwiches from the local deli, while I had a pup about. It was a beautiful day - and there were lots of people playing in the water.
Mom and Dad's friends Doug and Julie and their little boy Andrew came by the condo yesterday evening. It was great to meet the little guy, and I turned up the cuteness by a factor of 10!
Today, we took a drive over to Bretton Woods. Jennifer from the Pawsitive Dog said that it is important I go to different places so I get comfortable being in new environments. I had a bit of the a pup around - checking out the scenery. I wanted to jump on the ski lift and see what was at the top, but dad didn't think it was a good idea.
Just finished my dinner here and got back from a walk. We are all now having some puplaxation!
Can't believe we have to go home tomorrow! :(
