My Dad - the next American Inventor?

Hi Pupsters -
So...nothing from the pup fairy last night. What a rip off this is! I lose four teeth - and NOTHING! Oh well!

As you can see from my picture yesterday, I am TEETHING. Ah yes, the pain and fun associated with losing baby teeth. All I want to do is CHEW!

So, my dad came up with an idea. Mom was telling him about rolling up wash clothes and freezing them. I think she read this in some puppy help book. But what did Dad do? He took it to the next level. The PLATINUM TREAT! He put a few Flash Frozen Liver Treats ($11.00 at your local high end puppy store) in the wash cloth before rolling it up and covering it in water. He then sticks it in the freezer and VOILA!

THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME. Not only does it make my teeth feel better..it keeps me busy until I can chew through and get the treats. It is just the best!

I have been watching American Inventor on TV - and I think I am going to enter dad's froze pupicle! Stay tuned!

Bath time and the Puppy Fairy

Hi Pupsters -
I had another great weekend in NH! And check this out.... I LOST 4 teeth! I am not sure where they went (Dad thinks I ate them! YUCK!) I hear this thing called the Puppy Fairy is supposed to come and leave me a treat under my pillow....I am not sure about this, so I will be sleeping with one eye open tonight.

Before heading home, I got a puppy bath! (Actually it was a shower with Dad. I always wondered what went on behind the bath curtain!) I didn't really like being rinsed off - but I must say, I smell quite nice! Having gone to puppy day care last week, and puppy play hour at Four Your Paws Only, I was starting to smell a bit au natural!

At any rate, I am happy to be home and ready to take on a new week. I wonder how many more teeth I am going to lose! I will keep everyone updated on the situation!

Puppy Day Care!

Hey Pupsters -
Just back from my first day at PUPPY DAY CARE! What a blast. I played and played and played. I had such a great time playing with all the other pupsters (and some of the sr pupsters!) Jordan told dad that I did great! AN A+ report card!

Wow! Am I pupped out! I think I am going to take a nap before Mom and Dad get home.

Getting Huge and Playing with New Friends

Hi Pupsters -

Well, Friday I made it to the vet for my last round of shots! Yeah! When I got on the scale, I found out I am now 18 pounds! Count them! 18! I am getting big and tall!
We were back in NH this weekend, and Don and Nancy, friend's of mom and dad's, came over to the condo to visit me. They brought their little boy Nicholas who just turned 5! We had so much fun playing together.

Later we went over to their house (Don C left his pupberry in Dad's car!) and Nicholas and I got to play chase in their condo. I even got to "dance" with Nicholas' Grandmother Ginnette! I was hamming it up - and the Criniti's loved it.

Other than that, it was a non eventful ride home (I slept the whole way.) I think the car is my sleeping machine - which makes Mom and Dad really happy.

Hope everyone had a pup weekend!

Tree Pruning and Potty Hunting

Hi Pup Fans!

Well, while Dad was working away and taking a conference call today, I was bored and did some tree (er..should I say plant) pruning. For some reason Dad didn't seem to enjoy my work...kept saying something like "good thing it isn't a poisonous plant!"
The other new thing intriguing me....the people potty. This thing looks sooooo cool. I mean, an entire SUPER SIZED bowl of COLD WATER! Again, Dad didn't seem to like this idea either. He has be putting the lid down trying to kill my curiosity...But for some reason, mom is excited about the lid being down!

Strange these humans are!

Back to playing!

Date Night?

Hi Pupsters

So last night, mom and dad had date night. DATE NIGHT? What the heck is that? Well...let me tell you pupsters...

I had a great walk with the Pup Walker Jordan earlier in the day.(He wants me to go on the Fellsway hikes with other pups next week! Can't wait! - Topic for future blog). However, when Dad got home, he said he was taking mom out on Date Night!

Date Night consisted of dinner and the John Mayer concert over at the Boston Garden. Now, don't get me wrong. I have all John Mayer's songs on my iPup, but please. I mean, I have been here for 5 weeks, and now they think they can GO OUT WITHOUT ME? Just look at me in that picture taken while mom and dad were at DATE NIGHT! Do I look happy? DO I LOOK LIKE A HAPPY PUP?

So where was my ticket to the John Mayer concert? Don't you think this pup would have enjoyed dinner at Boston Beer Works? Don't you think this pup would have liked to have worn a glow in the dark necklace like all the teenyboppers?

Date night....Please. I will be monitoring this situation

A Wicked Awesome Weekend

Hi Pupsters!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Sorry, I am a bit behind on my blog. Dad was hogging the computer AGAIN! UGH! I wonder if Dell makes a puppy laptop? Anyways....

I don't even know where to start. I had SOOOOOO much fun this weekend.
I went to my first puppy play group at Four Your Paws Only in North Conway. I met all sorts of other puppies (although none quite as handsome as me).

There was this HUGE puppy named Baby (believe me...he was NO BABY at 80lbs!) My favorite was this cute black lab named Kallie. In fact, they asked if we lived in NH as their owners wanted to set up a play date with me! I loved all the dogs and I can't wait to go back next weekend.

On Saturday night, I had great fun playing in the back yard of the condo. Dad set up a sprinkler (I think he is trying to grow some grass or something back there). The sprinkler was WICKED fun! I ran around for a couple of hours...in and out of the sprinkler. I even tried to drink from it! FUN FUN FUN!

On Sunday, my Rhode Island Grand Puprents came to visit. Carol brought me a really fun rope toy that I have been playing with all day! They told me how beautiful I was. (Duh! I wish people would use the word..HANDSOME though).
All in all, quite the busy weekend. Back to the grind of being a pup this week (he he! That just sounds funny!)

I know I have pupsters reading this blog on both the East and West Coasts, and places in between! I have also heard that there are a number of folks from the UK reading it as well. (I heard dad went to school over there - where ever that is!)

That's all for now!

Have a Pup Week.

Mop Surfing

Hey Pupsters -
So I have found a new way to have fun! MOP SURFING. See, my dad is a bit of a neat freak, and he uses this big dry mop with lots of strings on it. I LOVE STRINGS! STRINGS STRINGS STRINGS!

Every time dad gets out the mop, I chase it! This morning I decided to jump on it - and go for a ride. WICKED FUN! Now, it does make my dad crazy because I keep him from cleaning, but for now I will continue to ride.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday. TGIP! (Thank god it's pupday!)

Enjoy the weekend.

From the Desk of Logan

Hi Pupsters!
Hope everyone is enjoying this nice pup summer day! The humidity is gone and the breeze is great along the harbor.

Went for my second walk with Jordan, the pup walker. He is great - and he lets me, you know, do my business, while Mom and Dad are at work.

I thought I would include a picture of me working hard on my blog. It takes alot of pup energy cranking this "puppy" out each day (or almost everyday).

Last night, we all went for a walk around the Navy Yard. We met a woman who had two Rat Terriers (Dad thought they just looked like rats). They were crazy little dogs and we played chase for a bit. The lady did talk mom and dad's ears off (I could tell Dad was trying to break away!)

We also took a walk by the sailing center. Here is a picture of me and Mom. My legs are getting very long...and I am hoping the rest of me catches up soon.

Back to New Hampshire tomorrow. It looks like it's going to be a pup weekend.

Pup email

Hey Pupsters!
Some of you have asked how you can email me. If you click the incredibly cute picture of myself under "about me", it will take you to my profile page. Under "Contact" there is a link to my email account: logansexpress@comcast.net.

As always, I will do my best to check my pup mail - so long as Dad isn't hogging the computer!

Car Rides, Airplanes, Boats, and Seagulls....oh, and by the way, I am HUGE too!

Hi Pup Bloggers -
Well, your pup hero made it back to Boston from vacation. Mom and Dad said the ride took almost 5 hrs with the July 4th traffic - but I didn't even notice as I slept the entire way. I got this car thing down! That was the good news. The bad news was I slept for 5 hrs, so when I got home...I wanted to PLAY PLAY PLAY. Not sure why dad seemed so tired!

I am enjoying life back in the big city. Everyone is really nice to me - albeit a bit dumb (some lady asked me if I was a Border Collie? YUK! Please!!!) Dad took me on a walk to watch the airplanes taking off from Logan airport. I think Dad enjoyed that more than I did - as I wanted to sniff everything along the boardwalk!

My other new friends are seagulls. These curious creatures seem to be EVERYWHERE around Boston Harbor. They walk around alot, but they seem to fly away (not sure how they do that) when I chase after them!

I did enjoy walking along the harbor - and looking at all the boats. I think Dad should get a boat. They look fun! Mike Wankum on Channel 5 said it's pretty hot across the country, but it has been nice and cool right here on the water and inside the condo. (Dad loves pup conditioning!)

Other than that, life is pretty chill. Jordan the pup walker comes tomorrow for the first time. I can't wait!

Oh, Mom thought I was getting big so she got on the scale with me. She did some tricky math or something, and figured out I am now 14 POUNDS! That California Natural dog food is doing wonders!

OK, back to important things like playing ball and chase.

Swimming, golfing, and having a pup time!

Hi Pup fans -

Well, we are wrapping up our vacation here in the White Mountains. Yesterday, mom and dad took me for a hike to Diana's bath. It was a fun walk - lots of great things to sniff along the way. Oh, and everyone who passed us had to stop, ask what kind of dog I was (A springer spaniel, duh!), whether I had hair or fur (duh...hair!), and generally told me how cute I was(duh duh duh!) I was the hit of the trail.

When we got to the baths, I was a bit afraid at first. However, after seeing all the kids jumping in, I decided to give it a go. BRRRRR....it was a tad cold, but it was FUN! The water wasn't deep, so I didn't really get to try out my swimming skills, but it did give me a chance to "take a bath". Dad didn't want me to get dirty on the hike back to the car, so I got "pup ride" on his shoulder. I am getting bigger everyday, so not sure how many more "pup rides" I may get. Have to take advantage of them while I can.

Mom and Dad played golf at the Mt Washington Hotel yesterday. They seem very relaxed and have had a nice trip.

Back to Beantown tomorrow. I think I forgot what that place looks like.

Fireworks, Blue Men, and Pupping Around

Hello Pup Fans -
Still living the pup life here in NH. I am not sure if we are ever going home...but I am taking to this mountain living!

Not much new to report. Dad thinks I am getting bigger everyday. He says my legs look bigger than the rest of my body! Crazy huh?

I watched the Boston fireworks on TV last night. I particularly enjoyed watching these guys name Blue Men. They are pretty funny looking - but I loved their music.

I think we may be off for a short hike....something called Diana's baths. Bath???? I wonder if this is a big trick....

Until later.

Happy 4th of July - and luckily no fireworks!

My first ever 4th of July!

I am glad to say that the day didn't start off with a bang, as mom found that I had been chewing on a the cord to the electric blanket under the bed. I love hiding under the bed - it is an awesome fort. Little did I know the chew toy I had was an electric cord. Mom said thankfully it was not plugged in. I can tell she wasn't happy with me :(

Oh well, back to the bag of toys. I am having a great time - although I think I might be wearing out mom and dad!

Can't wait to see what the day brings. Hope all the fans of Logan's Express has a great holiday!

Red Sox (and Pup) Nation!

Greeting Pup Fans -
Still having a puptastic time here in NH. I have quickly figured out my routine....sleep, eat, play, walk, watch the Red Sox, repeat.

Speaking of the Red Sox....many of you will have noticed my Red Sox collar and leash. Outside the condo, dad has the Red Sox flag flying...and mom is constantly rattling off Red Sox stats (who's pitching tonight, what time the game is, etc. etc). It is sort of crazy how much these people are into the Red Sox. Pup K, Jason Pupertek, Tim Pupfield, Jonathan Pupplebon....Big Puppy! Got to love them all!

So what is this pup's prediction? Well, while watching Regis and Kelly this am (that Kelly Ripa is puptastic by the way!) - Regis was talking about being harassed by his neighbor BoSox Bob. If Regis, a die hard Yankee fan is worried about the Sox, I think we are in good shape. On to the Devil Rays tonight (who are in pup place!) - then a break for the All Pup Game.

I am very optimistic about the Red Sox so far....but again, this is my first season. Only time and some pup luck with tell!

Greetings from Mt Washington Valley

Hi Pup Fans -
Greetings from the Mt Washington Valley. The weather has been cool - but I am having a great vacation. Been on lots of walks, played ball, and played with some of the local kids. All in all, quite the pup break!
I have been playing with Zach and Sarah who live in the condo next door. We have played chase, fetch, and done alot of RUNNING AROUND. FUN FUN FUN

Dad is yelling at me about my biting - but hey, I am teething. He also said I have something called the morning crazies. MORNING CRAZIES!!! Please. He should sit in a box all night and see how he feels!

Other than that, we are all having fun up North!

More to come.
